I think it comes in phases. There are months where you wish things would just stabilize and others where you want to be shaken out of your stupor!
The only thing constant is Change!! I have realsied this after moving 3 countries in the last 4 years :-) Just when you think you've settled down..it's time to pack your bag again....

Interesting! Have you seen the documentary? Durga-festival is more an east-indian celebration; and I've been a Bombay girl; so I've never really seen a big Durga festival in real life. Would love to watch this docu.

I know in Kolkatta, Durga Puja is huge, and even in Bangladesh, Durga Puja and Buddho Purnima are celebrated quite extensively.

I honestly thought I'd reached the stage where I'd stay here for another 2yrs (as is Hubs' Plan) then ride off (on the bike of course) into the sunset & semi-retirement.
Hubs has been offered a new job.

I wish I could agree with you that stability is overrated, but when life's wacky for way too long, man do you wish for something stable to hold onto. Stability is important methinks, monotony is a bit much, but thats not what I am talking about...
