Nice colors, looks like a peaceful place from the pictures, the only other place iv seen colors like these is the art deco area is south beach, Miami.

Oooh, I love the pink windows...I'd love to paint my garage door that colour! We'd be the most striking house on the block!

It looks great! :)

D Reb,
Its not a peaceful place, its he party center of Singapore. Of course, the pics were taken during the day time, when it looks deceptivly peaceful :)

Moi,
You had grey & pink sweat pants?? Lol !!

Lotus,
Go for it ! :)

So glad you've arrived safe & sound & here's hoping you find a nice place to live soon! Living out of a suitcase can be very trying on the nerves!
I find it almost invigorating to see houses/buildings painted in different colours. I think we tend to get very used to the dull tones on offer here & the only variety we have is the different coloured glass in some of the tower blocks! At home in SA, it was very fasionable to have the roof of your house painted turquoise - sounds awful but it really suited the majority of properties!

Turqoise roof sounds really exotic!! :))
We're settling in fine....just getting acclamatised to the new city. Missig Dubi terribly though.
