Old Hill Street Police Station

This is one of Singapore's older buildings. It used to be a police station in 1930s; it is now home to the ministries of information, communication & arts. I love the colourful window panes!

Mookuthi, Kanishka, Moi,
It does look like a cute Lego building. Its declared a national monument here.

I took a lot of similar pictures in Ottawa in July. Beautiful old buildings...gives the city a fairy tale like character.

As well, in St Johns, Newfoundland, the downtown old houses are a part of the hertiage now and cannot be renovated into newer styles neither canthey be demolished to build commericial or residential complexes. Why I am talking of them is because they all are painted with beautiful bright colors just like the windows in the other picture.

Jas, why dont we get to see them on your blog..it's never too late to post a few pics up :)

Hi Radha, seems like your are enjoying Singapore in full swing. Did you like it better than Dubai? How are things at your end? sorry I was not able to make it to your blog regularly.

Thank you :)

Sharmi,
Hi there! We're settling in fine in Sngapore. We miss Dubai a lot; but then its thrilling to be able to start off again in a new city :)
